- Jantar Mantar: is a collection of architectural astronomical instruments, built by Maharaja (Ruler) Jai Singh II at his then new capital of Jaipur between 1727 and 1734.

Day Excursion Ajmer & Pushkar
Ajmer is a very beautiful city, surrounded by the spectacular Aravalli Mountains. Ajmer, also known as Ajaymeru, was the city once ruled by Prithviraj Chauhan.
'Dargah Shareef' of Khwaza Moinuddin Chishti is situated at the foot of the Taragarh hill, and consists of several white marble buildings arranged around two courtyards, including a massive gate donated by the Nizam of Hyderabad, a mosque donated by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, the Akbari Masjid, and the domed tomb of the saint. To this place Emperor Akbar, with his queen, performed pilgrimage on foot from Agra every year in observance of a vow he had made when praying for a son.
Pushkar -'Pushkar' is a town in the state of Rajasthan in India. Pushkar means born due to flower. In Hindu mythology, It is said that gods released a swan with lotus in its beak and let it fall on earth where Brahma would perform a grand yagna. The place where lotus fell was so called Pushkar. It is situated 14 Km from Ajmer and is one of the five sacred dhams, pilgrimage sites for devout Hindus; it is often called "Tirth Raj" (the king of pilgrimage sites). In recent years it has become a popular destination for foreign tourists. Pushkar lies on the shore of Pushkar Lake. It has five principle temples, many smaller temples and 52 ghats where pilgrims decend to the lake to bathe in the sacred waters. One of the primary temples is the 14th century temple dedicated to Brahma, the Hindu god of creation.
Very few temples to Lord Brahma exist anywhere in the world. Pushkar is also famous for its annual Pushkar Camel Fair. The natural environment of Pushkar and the sacred lake has become increasingly degraded in the last few decades. The problems stem mainly from over development of tourist facilities and the deforestation of the surrounding area .Kartik purnima is the time when a visit to Pushkar becomes important. Pilgrims from every part of the country take a dip in the water of Pushkar lake and perform a special prayer, in2008, about 35,000 foreign tourists and over five lakh domestic tourists visited Pushkar during the fair season.
